Slush 2015: Redwerk’s Report On One Of European Major Startup Events
On November, 12-13 Redwerk team was attending an exciting event in Helsinki, Finland – Slush 2015. Understanding the process of software development for startups, it’s been a great opportunity for us in terms of productive networking, meeting new prospects for our business and just keeping up with all the latest tech innovations.
Slush has been always a great place for tech startups and innovators to meet up with international investors, mentors and media. Every time this event brings together thousands of creative talents and technology companies for a two-day marathon full of communication, partnership prospects, successful deals and media coverage. The best talents of Finnish, European and world’s technology world are coming together at Slush every year, and 2015 wasn’t an exception.
We had a lot of meetings there, saw numerous revolutionary startups and talked to many brilliant people like Jouko Salo – Co-Founder at Aeromon, a revolutionary technology startup using drones for aerial analysis, Matti Paksula – CTO at AppGyver, a really interesting data-focused mobile app builder, Miemo Penttinen, Co-Founder at Funzi and many other talented entrepreneurs that are a pleasure to communicate with.
There were many inspiring speakers such as Britany Gorevic sharing their experience at Slush 2015 stage. Numerous big companies were presenting their latest achievements, for example Nokia was showing its virtual reality helmet.
Speaking in general, we are absolutely impressed by Slush 2015, and we are definitely going to visit it next time. Goodbye Slush and a wonderful city of Helsinki, we look forward to see you again on some point!
